Mike Jones appointed COO at MySpace
Portland, Oregon — April 27, 2009 — abcInvesting.com, LLC, supplier of unbiased retirement plan educational materials and programs, today announced that one of their advisors has also accepted a position as COO of MySpace.
Michael Jones has been a member of abcInvesting's advisory board since the company’s inception. He is a serial Internet entrepreneur who has founded and sold numerous businesses, including Userplane (sold to AOL) and Investing.com. Michael formed Userplane to develop high-traffic websites for companies such as Red Bull and 800 Flowers. He transitioned Userplane into an applications business which became the premier community communication software provider with clients such as MySpace, Friendster and eHarmony. As a former VP at AOL, Michael continues to serve AOL as a strategic advisor to Userplane.
